The tabernacle patterns point to those spiritual things that God will bring about with their intended fulfillment in Christ Jesus. One purpose of the tabernacle and later the temple was to illustrate a restored relationship between God and His people. Christ Jesus, as a ransom for all, provided the complete basis for forgiveness, reconciliation and eternal life. The tabernacle gate represents Christ Jesus: the person and message of Christ as the great teacher who speaks truth to humanity, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
