A World Without Tears

A Poem of Hope

Just think of a world, a world without tears,
- Isaiah 25:8; Revelation 7:17; 21:4
Where a man can live for a million years
- John 10:28; 17:3; 5:28-29; Acts 26:23; 1 Corinthians 15:20
With never a grief, no ache or pain,
- Isaiah 35:10; 52:9; Rev 21:4
And never a thought of dying again.
- Isaiah 33:24; Hag 2:7; John 6:45

Think of a world when a man plants a vine.
- Isaiah 65:21; Zechariah 3:10
He can sit in its shade and say, "This is mine."
- Micah 4:4; Zechariah 3:10
He can live in the house his own hands made,
- Isaiah 65:21-22; Ezekiel 28:26
And nought shall molest or make him afraid.
- Jeremiah 46:27; Micah 4:4; Zephaniah 3:13

Think of a world without bloodshed or strife,
- Zechariah 8:17; Revelation 21:27
Where no man dare take another man's life,
- Micah 4:3; Revelation 22:15
Where man unto man will unite in peace,
- Isaiah 9:7; 65:21-23; Romans 14:19
And malice and hatred forevermore cease.
- Psalm 46:8-11; Ezekiel 37:26

Think of the earth as a global paradise,
- Matt 6:10; Acts 3:21; Isaiah 35:1-2, 6; Rev 22:2
Where mountain and desert will dazzle your eyes,
- Isaiah 35:5; 1 Corinthians 4:5
With beautiful flowers and shrubbery and trees,
- Isaiah 35:1-2; Revelation 22:2
With gay butterflies, songbirds and bees.
- Isaiah 66:1; 60:13

Think! Just as sure as God's Word is truth,
- Jeremiah 31:34; John 17:17
A man shall return to the days of his youth.
- Job 33:25; Isaiah 35:6; Matthew 11:5
His flesh shall become as the flesh of a child,
- Job 33:25; Matthew 5:5
And the words that he speaks are cheerful and mild.
- Zechariah 8:16; Ephesians 4:15, 25

Think of a world where a lame man will leap,
- Isaiah 35:6; Matt 11:5; Jer 31:16-17; 1 Thes 4:16
From crag to crag like a deer or sheep,
- Isaiah 35:5-6; Matthew 11:5
Where none will be deaf or none will be blind,
- Isaiah 35:6; Matthew 11:5; 12:22; Luke 7:22
And the dumb shall sing and speak forth his mind.
Isaiah 35:6; Mark 7:37

Think of a world where each man and his brother,
- Acts 17:26-28; Ephesians 4:2
Shall not esteem himself above that of another,
- Philippians 2:3; 1 John 3:11
Where man unto man will be friend to friend...
- Matthew 19:18-19; Romans 12:10
In a world without tears that will never end.
- Isaiah 35:10; 1 John 3:11

Think of a world where the dead will have risen
- Acts 26:23; 1 Corinthians 15:20
From their silent tombs that held them in prison.
- John 5:28-29; Acts 24:15
To forever live, to love and caress...
- Daniel 12:2; John 3:16; 1 John 3:11; 4:7, 11
Their loved ones and friends in righteousness.
- Psalm 133:1; Isaiah 26:9; 65:17

Now a world without tears is not just a dream,
- Isaiah 25:8; Revelation 21:3-4
As to many a person it might seem.
- Genesis 22:18; 26:4
For just as sure as the Bible is true,
- Haggai 2:7; Hebrews 6:16-18
A world without tears is promised to you.
- Zechariah 8:23; 14:16; Luke 21:25-28

And since such a world before you now lies,
- Luke 21:28; 1 Corinthians 1:3
Wouldn't you like to live in such a paradise?
- Psalm 7:9; Isaiah 65:16-25
And share all the blessings God has in store,
- Romans 12:10; 1 Corinthians 2:9
For all who would do his will evermore.
- Matthew 7:24; Hebrews 13:21

Good news of Christ's Kingdom is still being sung
- Acts 15:11; 16:31; Ephesians 5:19; Revelation 5:9; 14:3
Throughout every nation, kingdom and tongue.
- Matthew 28:19-20; Revelation 15:4
And all who are thirsting for Truth are invited
- 1 Corinthians 3:11; Ephesians 2:20
To become new creatures and in Christ be united.
- 1 Corinthians 16:13; 2 Thessalonians 2:15; Rev 2:10

Join in praise to Christ Jesus, our savior and King.
- Zechariah 14:17; Romans 16:24; 2 Corinthians 1:2-3;
1 Peter 4:11
We learn through His own Word He rules everything,
- Psalm 145:11; Hebrews 7:19; Romans 14:11; Revelation 15:4
And that we might live throughout endless years,
- John 10:28; 17:3; Romans 6:32; 1 John 2:25; 5:20
In a world without sorrow, A WORLD WITHOUT TEARS!
- Psalm 37:22; Matthew 5:18; Colossians 2:17; Hebrews 9:23;
James 1:25; Revelation 22:14

An invitation to come to Christ:

Consider the invitation and call of Christ as recorded in scripture:

"Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and YOU SHALL FIND REST FOR YOUR SOULS. For My yoke is easy, and My load is light." (Matthew 11:28-30)

"But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life." (John 3:16)

"Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends." (John 15:13)

"What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?" (Romans 8:31-32)

Everyone is encouraged to respond to the love of God and the invitation of Jesus. Open the door of your heart by faith to a very real relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior from your sins. Make Him Lord of your life.  [See: The Basis for Salvation]

Pray something like this: Lord, I have greatly sinned and I am sorry. I ask that the blood of Jesus be a covering for my sins and a healer of my soul. Take me and put your spirit of holiness in me, change me to be like your dear Son Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.

Or like this: I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon your name Lord (Psalm 116:13). I have sinned, and come short of Your glory and standard (Romans 3:23; 1 John 1:10). But there is forgiveness with thee, and I honor your word (Psalm 130:4). I believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that I can have life through his name (John 20:31; 2 Timothy 1:9-11). I believe your Son Jesus Christ died for my sins and rose again from the dead to set me free (John 3:36). I ask to become your child and be led by your word and spirit (Romans 8:14; Galatians 4:6). Please lead me and guide me with your presence (1 John 4:15). For your word says, "whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Romans 10:13; 2 Timothy 1:9-11). You will not cast me aside (John 6:37) since your word is truth (John 17:17). Amen.
